SwearGiggle ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the App, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and a password (stored as a secure hash).

Usage Data: We track the number of phrases you play, badges you earn, and your favorites to provide and improve the App's features. This data is linked to your account.

Payment Information: When you purchase a subscription or one-time item, payment is processed by Base44 Payments (powered by Wix). We do not store your full credit card number — only the transaction status and product purchased.

User Submissions: If you submit a phrase suggestion, we store the text, category, and emoji you provide.

Referral Data: If you participate in the referral program, we store your user ID and email address alongside the referred user's ID and email address to track and grant referral bonuses. If you invite a friend by email, your display name is included in the invitation email sent to that address.

Device & Technical Data: We may automatically collect device type, browser, and standard log information for security and analytics purposes.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Operate, maintain, and improve the App and its features.

• Process payments and manage your subscription or purchase status.

• Track usage statistics and award achievement badges.

• Display your favorites and personalized content.

• Send service-related communications (e.g., account verification, billing notices).

• Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and technical issues.

• Process referrals, track bonus plays, and send invitation emails on your behalf when you use the referral or invite features.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in these limited circumstances:

• With payment processors (Wix/Base44 Payments) to complete transactions you initiate.

• With audio generation providers to create voice clips for phrases you play.

• With spreadsheet and analytics tools (e.g., Google Sheets) to log referral conversions and track program performance.

• When required by law, court order, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

• To report serious or illegal violations — including threats of violence, harassment, and unlawful content — to the appropriate authorities, including law enforcement, where required by law or to protect the safety of users or the public.

• In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of our assets, subject to confidentiality obligations.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account information and usage data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account or request deletion, we will remove your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we are legally required to retain it.
